Robert Lee Fletcher Jr's Obituary
Robert Lee Fletcher, Jr., 81, of Jackson passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 17, 2025. Bob’s family and friends will gather Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel, with his funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. Pastor John White will officiate.
He was born on March 31, 1943, in Jackson, Michigan to Robert and Norcie Fletcher. He will be remembered for his love of hot rods. Bob is a graduate of Hanover Horton High School. He was a member of the South-Central Michigan Bass Casters, traveling all over the Midwest fishing. Bob was involved in the Brooklyn hot rod car shows, his specialty being the 1930- 1940 vintage. He attended many car shows and swap meets, and won a trophy at the Rose Parade in Jackson for his yellow ’32 Ford hot rod. Bob could fix anything in the older car era. He made the car shows a treasured family memory. Bob also enjoyed the lake life with his family, skiing and fishing are some of his most cherished memories. He was an amazing father and loving grandfather. Bob will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bob is survived by his children, Sean Fletcher and Leslie Shakoor; grandchildren Eric, Aaron, Shawn, Marcus and Sloan; great grandchildren Garrett, Rowan and Azalea; and special nephews, Dave and Joe. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Norcie.
