Robert Leroy Jones' Obituary
Age 84, passed away at home with family. He is survived by his children, Vickey (Brian) Bailey, Tina (Jeff) Wolf, Lee Ann (Steve) Davis, Carol (Craig) Ressler and Ann Jones; nine grandchildren, Robert, Linda, John, Tricia, Tanda, Tiffany, Travis, Alec and Kelsey and many great-grandchildren, including another great-granddaughter on the way. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sue Ann Jones; sister, Rosella Jones; brother, William Jones; his parents, William S. and Alliveso (Stevens) Jones; and his loving friend Mary Davis. Mr. Jones served the nation as a tank driver in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from Conrail out of Jackson in 1990. He enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino and spending time with his family. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home Friday, May 12th, from 6-8 pm. A memorial to celebrate his life will be held this summer. After the visitation, Mr. Jones will be cremated and interred privately at Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon. Donations in his memory should be directed to Great Lakes Caring Home Health and Hospice or Chelsea Hospital's ICU.
