Robert Eugene Philllips' Obituary
Age 82, of Vandercook Lake, passed away January 10, 2016 at home under the loving care of his family and Allegiance Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis D. (maiden-Irelan), five children, Roberta (Mark) Lazarus, Patty (Andy) Tilford, Penny (Dave) Cropsey, Linda (Phil) Hawkey and David (Sarah) Phillips, nine grandchildren, Tiffany, Jill, Lori, Samantha, Kimberly, Erik, Cheyenne, Chad and Cody, seven great-grandchildren, Austin, Bryan, Koda, Jacob, Emily, Cealy and Noah, sister-in-law, Thelma Phillips and his beloved canine pal, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his son, Barry Phillips, sister, Evelyn Walkowicz, brother Earl Phillips, granddaughter, Rebecca Hawkey and his parents, Harry and Catherine (maiden-Moore) Phillips. He was a retired tool and die maker with Wolverine Metal Specialties. Mr. Phillips has been cremated. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #3634, 302 Fifth St., Michigan Center on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 1 to 5 pm. The family wishes to thank the staff of Allegiance Health 6 West and Allegiance Hospice for their comforting care and support. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Allegiance Hospice.
