Robert David Stanton's Obituary
Robert David Stanton, 85, from Manchester, MI, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at his home in Manchester. Robert’s family and friends will gather 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Sheeks to officiate. Interment to follow at Norvell Cemetery.
He was born on January 26, 1940, in Jackson, MI, to Austin and Gail (Brody) Stanton. Robert married the love of his life, Mabel Stanton, on December 16, 1961, in Jackson, MI, who he sadly lost in 2004. He spent his career working in the heating/cooling industry for different companies and his neighbors; at one point even owning his own business. Robert enjoyed fishing, flying model airplanes, Nascar racing and going to the casino. He was the kind of guy who would help anyone who asked. Robert will be remembered as a loving, devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather, who will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Robert will be missed by his children, Robert (Julie) Stanton, Martha (Terry) Young, Kelly Wagner and Steven (Jacquelyn) Stanton; his grandchildren, Paige, Luke, Brooke, Keri, Zarina, Joni, Danielle, Zach, Nicole, David, Jessica, Michael and Jadzia; great grandchildren, Caden, Joshua, Remi, Justin, Landon, Brayden, Jaxon, Jaysa, Michael, Thomas, Patrick, Stella, Leo and Arabella; his nephew, Buck Keyes; and many extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Gail Stanton; his wife, Mabel Stanton; his mother-in-law, Edna James; his siblings, Glenn, Shirley, Jim and Bud; his best friend, Larry Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
