My dad worked with Bob at Consumer's and I met him and Jo when I was little. Even though he only took me over there a couple times, they were very kind people, like the rare ones who appreciate you for who you are with no judgement. My childhood was filled with anxiety, but I specifically remember being at ease during those visits and I always wished we visited them more. He helped me woodwork a pinewood derby car for cub scouts and it was the first time I ever had a pumpkin roll with frosting. They grew bleeding hearts that I'd never seen before and I thought they were pretty and interesting. I've thought about them now and then over the years. I hope Bob and Jo's family are doing ok. --Matt C
