Rodney Aubrey-Gene Reynolds' Obituary
Age 53, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Henry Ford Allegiance ER after an attack near Cascades Park in Jackson. He is survived by his wife, TeKeya N. (maiden-White) Reynolds; three children, Brittany Reynolds, Jaz (Jessica) Reynolds and Rodney Reynolds Jr.; stepchildren, Danyah' (Charles) Eubanks, Iyannah Estwick, Dominick Johnson and Ta'Kye Estwick; grandchildren, Dominique, Aydan, Braydan, Elijah, Berlynn, Christopher and Akilah, Hayden, A'Nyah and Lynleigh Reynolds and Carti'Ae Brown; sister, Paula (Stacie) Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Dorothea (maiden-Laserra) Reynolds. Rodney worked all his life helping the mentally ill in a selfless and compassionate manner. For over thirty years he worked for Christ Centered Homes plying his trade. He was a producer of hip-hop and rap music. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at the Greater Bible Way Temple (322 Madison Street, Jackson, MI 49202) on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Bishop Ira Combs Jr. and Rev. Douglas McKitty officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 am until service time. Contributions in his memory are directed to his sister Paula to help defray his final expenses.
