Roger Alan Bridgewater's Obituary
Age 63, of Michigan Center, passed away at his home November 10, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Julie, four children, Heather (Aaron) English, Nikki (Joe) Adkins, Jesse Yother and Jenna Bridgewater, four grandchildren, Joey and Bodee Adkins, Emerson and Sullivan English, parents, Charles and Patricia Bridgewater and brother Stuart Bridgewater. Roger was a graduate of Michigan Center High School, served the nation in the USMC, was active in the Michigan Center Clearwater Association and retired with the rank of Sergeant after a career with the State Department of Corrections. He loved life, and was loved by many. He will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at noon with Rev. Richard Brooks officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday evening 6-8 pm with a vigil by the Department of Corrections Honor Guard. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Michigan Center Clearwater Association.
