Roger Stanley Lipko's Obituary
Roger Stanley Lipko, 78, of Jackson passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, Friday, November 25, 2022. Roger’s family and friends will gather Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes-Michigan Center Chapel (formerly Arthur Day Funeral Home).
He was born on November 13, 1944, in Jackson, Michigan to Stanley and Rose (Gibson) Lipko. Roger was employed with Silverfoam Distributing for over 20 years. After retiring he then opened a business of his own, Bayside Cleaning South in Naples, Florida. Roger had an incredible sense of humor and was very quick witted. He was an avid fisherman, bird, deer and squirrel watcher. Roger enjoyed all animals. He was a member of the Rose City Post for many years. Roger enjoyed taking cruises to the Caribbean and occasional road trips to the casino. Above all, Roger loved to spend time with his family and watch his grandchildren play sports. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his cat, Karma.
The Lipko family would also like to extend their appreciation and thanks to Karol and Helen, who became Roger’s guardian angels.
Roger is survived by his daughters, Tamara (Rich Yabs) Tanner and Kimberly (Steve) Dowding; a sister, Gail Hall; sister-in-law, Barb Lipko; grandchildren, Derek (Elora) Dowding, Mitchell (Victoria) Tanner, Drew Dowding, and bonus grandson, Kasey; two nieces and one nephew; many cousins; former wife and dear friend, Carolyn Lipko and special friend Elsie Horner. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley, brother Steve Lipko and brother in law, Larry Hall.
