Ronald Dennis Heiler's Obituary
Age 66, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. Ron is survived by his beloved family of three sons, Ronald J. (Robyn), Shawn M. (Maureen) and Andrew L. (Alexia) Heiler; nine adored grandchildren, Addison, AJ, Dierks, Olivia, Corbin, Layla, Mackenzie, Ainsley, and Bryce; four siblings, Joe (Doreen), Lori, Cheryl (Mark) and David (Jennifer) Heiler; many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Carol J. Heiler in 2006; father, Ronald P. Heiler; mother, Ruth (Mast) Ratcliff; and sister, Terri Heiler. Ron was a 1971 graduate of Jackson High School; he then went on to work at Hayes-Albion/Harvard Industries, Baker College, Sharp Park Golf Learning Center and Swains Lake Campground. He was a proud member of the Grotto Club, Polish Falcons, and Loyal Order of the Moose. In his younger years, Ron was an avid golfer, active in softball and bowling leagues; in more recent times, he was a member of several golf, pool and euchre leagues. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and following his children and grandchildren in their sports and other activities. Ron's favorite times were those spent with family, most especially with his grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at Encounter Church, 620 Robinson Rd, Jackson, MI 49203 on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 9:00 am with Pastor Andrew Walker officiating. A "Come and Go" luncheon will follow from Noon until 3:00 pm at the Grotto Club, 102 E. Washington Ave., Jackson, MI 49201.In lieu of flowers, please do something to enjoy life while you are able or do something to love on those around you.
