Ronald McDonald's Obituary
McDonald, Ronald D., Sr. Age 66, of Vandercook Lake, passed away March 14, 2014 at his home under the loving care of his family and Great Lakes Hospice. He is survived by his wife, Karilyn S., eight children, Ronda (Michael) Eastman, Donna Stephens, Barbara (Robert) Gollach, William McDonald, Ronda McDonald, Ronald D. McDonald Jr., Don Knapp and Stephanie (Lee) Trombley, five step-children, Ronald Walz, Glenn (Buffy) Walz Jr., Cynthia (Joe) Walz, Alfred Walz, Georgiana (Tom) Lee, two sisters, Genevieve Palmer and Doris Lake, sister-in-law Kathie McDonald, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Gene, seven siblings and his parents, Maurice and Myrtle McDonald. Mr. McDonald was a retiree of General Products, avid motorcycle rider, member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #612, Jackson where he served as President twice and founded the Eagle Riders. Services will be held at the New Hope Missionary Church, 1800 Park Road, Summit Twp., Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 1:30 pm with Pastor Byron Maynard officiating. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday 2-4 & 6-8 pm with an Eagles Lodge of Sorrow at 7:30 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to New Hope Missionary Church.
