Rose Marie Ostrovich's Obituary
Rose Ostrovich, 85, passed away on March 7, 2024. Rose’s family and friends will gather on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Shrine Catholic Church, Brooklyn, MI. Her funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Rose was born on May 26, 1938, in Jackson, Michigan to Alex and Julia Chesney. Rose married the love of her life, Edward Ostrovich, on April 26, 1957. She will be remembered as a woman who always had a smile on her face and enjoyed celebrating life, especially the holidays. Rose had a strong love of God, and her faith was very important to her. She also volunteered for over 30 years with the Jackson Recreation Department Senior Citizens Program and was an 8-gallon blood donor for the Red Cross.
Rose will be missed by her husband, Edward; her children, Ed (Diana) Ostrovich of Texas, Rose (Bryan) Noble of Brooklyn, and Steven (Nezy Reyes) Ostrovich of Canton and their families; and a brother, Raymond Chesney. She is preceded in death by her brother, Edward Chesney.
