Ruth Ann Bunker's Obituary
Ruth Ann Bunker, 88, of Jackson, Michigan passed away at her home under the loving care of her loving family and Elara Hospice, on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Ruth’s family and friends will gather from 10:00am – 11:00am, Friday, July 31, 2026 and her funeral service will follow at 11:00am at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. Pastor Rod Walker will serve as celebrant.
She was born on August 1, 1937, in Jackson, Michigan, to Harold and Mae Burman. Ruth married the love of her life, William Wilson Bunker Sr. on May 25, 1956. She will be remembered for her love of crocheting, collecting sea shells on the beach in Florida and spending time with her ‘little brown dog’, Brownie. However, Ruth’s greatest joy in life was spending time with family.
Ruth will be missed by her children, Harold Sr., William (Eliza), and Laura; grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer, Jessica, Jackie, Brandy, Casey, Brittany, Joey, Megan; and 16 great grandchildren and her faithful dog, Brownie . She is preceded in death by her husband William; her parents; her daughter Margaret; daughter in law, Sandra; grandsons Harold Jr and Timothy.
