Ruth Dorn Broughman (maiden-Sifers)'s Obituary
Age 92, of Michigan Center, passed away at home under the loving care of her family and Great Lakes Caring Hospice on November 2, 2014. She is survived by five children, Lawanna (Bill) Simpkins, Dynarl Broughman, Gary (Mary Lynn) Broughman, Denny (Lynda) Broughman and Cris (Peggy) Broughman; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest in 2002; several siblings; grandson Craig Broughman and daughter-in-law Claudia Broughman. She was a dedicated mother and wife, enjoyed gardening and canning and sharing the bounty with family and friends. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, November 6, 2014 at noon with Pastor Jeremy Toyer of the Village Hope Church officiating. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6-8 pm.
