Sally Ann Bidol's Obituary
Sally Ann Bidol, 66, of Jackson passed away peacefully on Friday, October 4, 2024. Sally’s family and friends will gather 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024, with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. Her funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2024, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Michigan Center with an hour of visitation prior to Mass. Fr. Timothy MacDonald will serve as celebrant.
She was born on October 19, 1957, in Jackson, Michigan to Walter and Helen (Kolotylo) Bidol. She will be remembered for her dedication to human health. Sally received a bachelor’s degree at U of M for Nursing, a master’s from U of M for Epidemiology and made her career as an Epidemiologist through the state of Michigan. Sally has been a consistent presence, a wealth of knowledge, a dedicated employee and an astounding mentor. Sally’s work impacted many programs here at the state health department and at all Michigan’s local health departments. Her important work in public health has directly or indirectly benefited every person in the state. She attended many U of M alumni events and games and enjoyed cross country skiing and traveling in her younger years. Above all she was a devoted aunt to her four nephews. She will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sally is survived by her siblings, Linda (Larry) Richards and Thomas Bidol; and four nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Tina Bidol and sister Carolyn Rowbotham.
Sally’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Our Family Friend home health care, the Hospice nurses and her caregivers, especially Stephenie, and Sally’s nephew Keith.
