Sandra Jean Dowding's Obituary
Dowding, Sandra J., age 65, of Leoni Township, passed away August 11, 2014 at Allegiance Health. She is survived b her husband of 37 years, Steve F., her son, Brian Tingley, three step-children, Catherine Shipley, Patricia Taylor and Steve (Kim) Dowding, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and sister, Connie Shirley. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Richardson, mother Katherine Hostetler and two brothers, Jerry and Danny Richardson. She was an active 32 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #612 Ladies Auxiliary and served as the Grand Madam President of the State Eagles. She also belonged to the Grass Lake Sportsman's Club. Services will be held at the funeral home Friday, 11:00 am with Pastor Byron Maynard officiating. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm with an Eagles Auxiliary Lodge of Sorrow at 7:30 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
