Sandra Kaye Pierce, 82, of Michigan Center, passed away, Saturday, January 4, 2025. Family and friends will gather for visitation Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 6p.m.-8p.m. and Wednesday January 8, 2025, from 1p.m.-2p.m. Service to begin at 2p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church 4250 Page Ave. Michigan Center, Michigan. Pastor Rob Martin will officiate.
Burial will take place at a later date, at Leoni Cemetery.
Sandra was born on January 5, 1942, in Jackson, Michigan to Howard and Sybil (Allen) Ott. She attended and graduated from Parma/Western high school. On November 26,1960 Sandra married Michael Floyd Pierce. They spent 57 happy years together until his passing in January of 2017. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for many years at her church Christ Lutheran and was a proud co-owner of Cardinal Flowers. However, her true love in life was spent as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered as an avid Hallmark fan, traveling, especially to the cabin up north, but mostly spending time with her family.
Sandra will be missed by her children, Janette (Greg) Soltis, Jill Pierce, Rafe (Tracey) Pierce, Jennifer (Gary) Soltis; siblings, Sheila (Jim) Floate, Lynn (Denise) Ott and Dan Ott; grandchildren Levi (Danielle) Soltis, Jesse (Alissa) Soltis, Rebecca (Gary) Simonds, Sabrina Soltis, Elizabeth (Isaac) Jordan, Angel (Josh) Pauken, James Soltis, Michael Soltis, Noah Soltis, Sarah (Dan) Frame-Altenritter, Erin (Max) Cambron, Ryan (Alice) Frame, Shane (Faith) Pierce, Samantha (Dan) McCaul, Silvan (Marissa) Pierce, Zeth (Taylor) Soltis, Ethan Soltis, Abbey (Nathan) Pennington, Collin Soltis; 31 great grandchildren; special friends, Cathy and Tom and many more special family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Pierce, parents, Howard and Sybil Ott, sister, Sharon, sister and brother-in-law Kathie and Fred Clark and sister-in-law Kathy Ott, granddaughter Maria, and great-granddaughter RayLynn.
