Sarah Elizabeth Johnson's Obituary
Sarah Elizabeth Johnson, 74, of Tecumseh passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on October 29, 2023. Sarah’s family and friends will gather on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Grace Bible Church, M-50 and Carson Hwy., Tecumseh, MI. Her funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Lawrence La-Follette will officiate. Burial to immediately follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manchester, MI.
Sarah was born on November 11, 1948, in Mobile, Alabama to Cecil and Ira (Peoples) Johnson. She was a Mother and Grandmother. Sarah worked for 26 years at Federal Mogul in Milan and worked for 16 years as a CNA at Glacier Hills. In her leisure time, she enjoyed painting, flowers, and arts and crafts.
Sarah will be missed by her children, Jackie Clinansmith and Krystal (Brian) Russell; siblings, Nancy Sannes; Jimmie Johnson; grandchildren, Allysyne (Tinsley) Grubb; Alexis Lockhart; Samantha Russell; great grandchildren, Charlotte, Ember, Sophie, Parker; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, JoAnn Duncan.
