Scott David Johns' Obituary
JOHNS, SCOTT DAVID Age 56, of Napoleon, passed away at his home, Tuesday, May 28, 2013, under the loving care of his family and Allegiance Hospice after a valiant battle with cancer. Scott is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Ronda (nee Fulcher); two sons, Matthew Johns (Raelynn Ries) of Pleasant Lake and Thomas Johns (Gentri Price) of Jerome; granddaughter, Avery Johns; parents, David and Carlene Johns of Napoleon; brothers, Jeff Johns of Napoleon and Gary (Janet) Johns of Oxford, MI; mother and father in-law, Betty (Richard) VanGuilder of Florida; many wonderful aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. After earning his BBA from Ferris State, Scott worked for Brothers Restaurant Supply; he then went on to be a sales representative for Gordon Food Service, Sysco and Aflac. His true love in life was spending time with his family and attending his son's athletic events. He was an enthusiast of all sports, cheering a little more for U of M. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11:00 am with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm.
