Sharon Fay Ericksen's Obituary
Sharon Fay Ericksen, 75, of Grass Lake, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Trinity Health, Ypsilanti. Sharon’s family and friends will gather from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m., on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel. Her funeral service will follow visitation at 3:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Sheeks will officiate.
She was born on August 14, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan to Stanley and Clara (Liebold) Pauze. Sharon married, David Ericksen on April 12, 1980, in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered for her quick wit and sassy personality. Sharon is a graduate of Cody High School in Detroit and Madonna University in Livonia. She retired from the Detroit Police Department as a Sergeant after many years of service. Sharon loved the water, living on Goose Lake and wintering in Palmetto, Florida. She is a member of the Irish Hills Eagles – Fraternal Order of Eagles. Sharon loved people and made friends easily. She enjoyed traveling across the country and had a weakness for her cats. Sharon will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 44 years, David; her son, Kevin (Christine) Robbins and step-son, Randy Ericksen; a brother, Dennis (Diane) Pauze, grandchildren Joshua Robbins, Brittany Ericksen and Madison Ericksen. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Clara; and a step-son, David Ericksen.
