Sharon Vidette Geer's Obituary
Sharon Vidette Geer, 48, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 9, 2024 at Henry Ford Hospital Jackson. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Grass Lake.
She was born on December 7, 1975, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to David and Katherine (Jasaitis) Geer. She will be remembered as a woman that had the most open heart, always willing to reach out to others to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy, with great sacrifice of herself. Sharon graduated from Grass Lake High School, class of 1994 and attended Washtenaw Community College and Siena Heights University. She was strong in her faith attending the Bethany Assembly in Adrian and Crossroads Church in Adrian. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and quilting for her family. Her quilts are just some of her cherished items. She also donated them to church's and the goodwill. Sharon loved animals, especially her dog, Buster and cat, Molly. Although her heart was stolen by a puppy, Rosey that has since passed. She admired the Amish lifestyle, even considering becoming a member. Sharon had a nurturing personality and loved Christmas. She could spend hours watching Christmas movies and shredding paper. Sharon also had a hidden passion for unicorns. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Sharon is survived by her sons, Tobiah Stopke and Abraham Ghali; her mother, Katherine Geer; a brother, William Geer; and a special aunt, Mary Geer. She is preceded in death by her father, David Geer and a child in infancy.
