Sharon Ann Hasenwinkle's Obituary
Sharon Ann Hasenwinkle of Napoleon Township passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born in Canton, South Dakota on May 28, 1940, the daughter of Norman and Delores (Crawford) Thormodsgard.
Sharon was an adoring wife, mother, and grandmother who focused on her family to give them all the love, guidance, and support that she had in her heart. She volunteered at the hospital, her church, and school, throughout her well-lived life.
Sharon enjoyed traveling, sewing, dancing, playing piano, her church, and gatherings with friends and family. She loved gardening and a particular joy was working in her beautiful three-season greenhouse.
Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Irwin "Butch" Hasenwinkle; her children: Karl Bradley (Kelly) Hasenwinkle and Jill (Solomon Akombi) Hasenwinkle; her grandchildren: Chad (Danielle) Hasenwinkle, Olivia Hasenwinkle, Kayla Akombi and Chloe Akombi; her great-grandchildren: Raelynn and Brady Hasenwinkle; her siblings: Douglas (Kay) Thormodsgard, Shirley Davies, Lewis (Berdine) Bowyer and Pam (Paul) Loe; and all her extended family and friends.
A time to share stories and gather in remembrance of Sharon will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1505 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI 49202 on Saturday June 18, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 4:00pm. Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
