Sharon Ann Irvine's Obituary
Age 77, of Leoni Township, passed away at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit January 5, 2021. She is survived by two children; Heather Irvine and Wade (Jocelyn) Irvine, one granddog; Aashit McSorley; three grandhorses; King, Finn, and Kharma; three grandchildren; Calvin, Keagan and Charlotte Irvine, as well as other extended family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kim Earl Smith and her father, Kenneth K. Smith. Sharon was born in Cement City, Michigan Wednesday, October 27, 1943. She had earned her Master's Degree in Education through Michigan State University and spent a long and dedicated career as a Teaching Consultant at the Jackson Intermediate School District. After retirement, she continued to teach in a literacy program. She was an avid reader, a founding member of the Jackson Community Concert Band, co-authored a series of books, loved to knit, have a glass of wine and thoughtfully produced many gifts for family and friends made with her flair for arts and crafts. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
