Sheryl Lee James' Obituary
Sheryl Lee James, age 79, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Sheryl’s family and friends will gather Monday, April 24, 2023, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (formerly Arthur- Day Funeral Home). Visitation is from 10am – 11am. Her funeral service will follow at 11am. Reverend Richard Garry will serve as celebrant.
She was born on April 22, 1943, to Lineol and Eileen (Jardine) Hasbrouck. Sheryl married the love of her life, Robert James, on September 10, 1960, they spent 44 years happily married. She was a faithful member of The Eastern Star and she also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sheryl was fondly known as “Maude” to her children and close friends of the family. When Sheryl wasn’t devoting her time to The Eastern Star or her family, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking.
Sheryl will be missed by her children, Jeff (Laurie) James, Tanya Lee Allred, and Kris (Cash) Wood; brother, Karl (Linda) Hasbrouck, grandchildren Kyle James, Hillari (Paul) Kopes, Ashley Kubish, Anna (Banks) Miller, Karis-Meagan Allred, Heather Wood (John), Beth (Mike) Gifford and great grandchildren Ivory Harris, Brock Kopes, Kaine Gifford, Rebecca Gifford, Madison-Lynn Wood, Lauren Parzych, Robert James Gifford and Kooper Gifford. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert James, her parents and numerous Aunts and Uncles
