Shirley Mae Krieghoff, 96, of Jackson, Michigan passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024. She will be interred with her husband at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Shirley was born on September 21, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio to Elroy and Beatrice (Sands) Hertzel. Shirley graduated from high school and on May 16, 1953, she married the love of her life, Daniel Krieghoff. They spent sixty-one happy years together until his passing in 2014. She will be remembered as a loyal and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Shirley will be missed by her children, Dean (Jill) Krieghoff, Diane (Mike) Pitcher, and Marsha Duguette; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elroy and Beatrice Hertzel and her husband Daniel Krieghoff.
