Siobhan Ruth Gorman's Obituary
Siobhan Ruth Gorman, 65, of Manchester, passed away August, 11, 2022. Siobhan’s family and friends will gather Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes - Manchester Chapel. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022, 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 am, at Emanuel United Church of Christ. Reverend Chris Kurtz will serve as celebrant.
She was born on December 14, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan to William and Jean (Pierce) Gorman. Siobhan married Bruce Bates, on August 6, 1983, in St. Clair Shores. She will be remembered as a loving wife mother and grandmother. Siobhan graduated from South Lake High School, Class of 1975. She earned her Master’s Degree and spent her career as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Siobhan spent time volunteering at Emanuel United Church of Christ, and was a board member for Manchester Community Resource Center. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
Siobhan will be missed by her husband Bruce Bates; her sons Gareth (Sunshine) Bates, Arie (Ali) Bates and Elijah Bates; granddaughters Cora, Airlia and Avira. She is preceded in death by her brother William, and her parents.
