Stella Viola Dolsen's Obituary
Stella Viola Dolsen went to her eternal rest on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Countryside Manor with family and SouthernCare Hospice at her bedside. She is survived by her four daughters, Lynne Judd, Joan Woods, Catherine (Lowell) Fast and Ellen (Mike) Estabrook; thirteen grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband John H Dolsen in 2013; granddaughter, Terri Prater; her parents, James A. and Emma V. (maiden name-Wilbur) Morris; eight siblings: Maggie Hilliard, Ila Bond, Ellen Richardson, Nancy Stiles, Virginia Schultz, Opal Morris, Jim and David Morris; sons-in-law, Arthur Judd, John Woods, Mark Ankley, Ken Brown. Stella loved to sew and was an excellent cook. She treasured her time and devoted her life to her family. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, at Metamora, MI. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday 6-8 pm with full adherence to the current COVID restrictions. The funeral service will be strictly private. Stella chose to be cremated after the services and will be interred next to her beloved late husband at Hillcrest Memorial Park at a later date.
