Stephanie Marie Klimala's Obituary
Age 64, of Napoleon Township, peacefully passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. She was born in Jackson on March 24, 1958 the daughter of Stanley and Helen (Kaminski) Klimala.
Stephanie was a 1976 graduate of Napoleon High School where she was a member of the 1976 State Champion Debate Team. After college, she went on to work several office positions before having a 27 year career with the State of Michigan as an account clerk.
She loved everything associated with the University of Michigan, attending or watching football and basketball games were a favorite past time. She was caring of all animals; loved her cats and dogs that were wonderful companions for her especially her dog Wolfy. She enjoyed spending time gardening.
Stephanie is survived by her beloved family, two sisters, Theresa Sneyd and Bernadette (Duane) Meads; brother, Tony (Kris) Kryst; nephews, Jeffrey Allen II and Tyler Kryst; nieces, Allyssa and Brittany Kryst; grandniece, Spectra Allen; Goddaughter, Esther Bail and her lifelong best friend, Deb Boley-Foley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Klimala and her mother, Helen Kryst; as well as her brother-in-law, Chan Sneyd.
Following Stephanie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a family gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
