Steve followed in his father's and grandfather's footsteps, becoming a Locomotive Engineer for Conrail and retiring from Norfolk Southern Railroad after many years of service. He made many friends throughout his life and cherished every one of them. Steve was especially proud of his children, Dan, Anne and Neal, and already imagined little Julian on the football field playing halfback. He will be remembered for his love of family, friends and U of M Football. We will all remember our friend Steve and his giving spirit.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. A luncheon is planned following the services. Interment will take place in the sunny section of St. John's Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
