Steven Michael ""Steve"" Whitaker's Obituary
Age 59, of Cement City, passed away at his home, Wednesday, March 30, 2016. Steve is survived by his wife, Nancy J. Whitaker; three children, Michael and Cynthia of Florida and Andrew of New York; two step-sons, Donald (Krista) Harmon of Jackson and Rob (Patti) Harmon of New Jersey; parents, Rex and Bertha Whitaker of Jackson; sister, Terri (David) Swetland of Jackson; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ken Whitaker. Steve was a graduate of Northwest High School and Michigan State University. He was a former employee of Cut-Rate Plumbing. Steve enjoyed all music and was an accomplished musician of the piano; he loved sharing his talents with everyone. As was his request, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held.
