Steven Laurence Williams, 64, of Addison passed away suddenly on March 9, 2024. Steven’s family and friends will gather Saturday, April 13, 2:00 PM at Cement City Baptist Church located at16788 Cement City Rd, Cement City, MI 49233 .
Steven was born on November 19, 1959, in Lapeer, Michigan to Dr. Charles and Nellie (Goeke) Williams. Steven married the love of his life, Carole Tompkins, on June 22, 1985, in Brooklyn, Michigan and they enjoyed 38 wonderful years together. Steven will be remembered as generous and witty, quick with a smile and a laugh, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He could fix anything. Steve gave heartfelt advice and had a humble soul. He also had a great passion for sailing. Steve was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend who loved and cherished his family.
Steven will be dearly missed by his wife, Carole; his children, Daniel (Rachel) Wandmacher, and Emily Williams; father, Dr. Charles Williams; six brothers and six sisters; many many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Williams.
