Susan L Clemons' Obituary
CLEMONS, SUSAN L. Age 63, of Jackson, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 23, 2013 under the loving care of her family and Allegiance Hospice after a hard fought battle with cancer. Sue is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Jerry; two sons, Kenny (Shawn) Clemons of Anderson, IN, and Kevin Clemons of Jackson; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Ellen (Robin) Spaulding; brother, Denny (Nancy) Rasmussen; her mother-in-law, Alice Truax; sisters-in-law, Carol Rasmussen, Donna (Dick) Ekin, Ginny Brunk and Karlene (Cal) Rydjord; brother-in-law, David (Reni) Clemons; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Myron Rasmussen; mother and step-father, Betty (Bailey) and Kenneth J. Smith; and brother, Bill Rasmussen. Sue was a member of the Napoleon United Methodist Church and a retiree of Allegiance Health as a surgical technician. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed crafts and had a great sense of humor. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 11:00 am with Mr. Scott Clemons officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm. For those who wish, contributions in Sue's memory may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Michigan Lupus Foundation.
