Susan Marie Stone's Obituary
Susan Marie Gillette Stone, 79, of Michigan Center, has gone to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 31, 2024. She was born on May 12, 1944, in Michigan Center, to Harley and Jane (Seckinger) Gillette. Susan graduated from Michigan Center High School in 1962 and retired from Consumers Energy after 25 years. Susan married the love of her life, Charles Fay Stone Jr., on March 29, 1979, in Michigan Center, Michigan. She will be remembered for her love of the lake where she often enjoyed rafting, fishing, canoeing, and swimming with her husband. Susan travelled the states, and she attended outboard motorboat races. She found fulfillment in ancestry research. Susan was an avid gardener of flowers and vegetables and was particularly fond of hibiscus.
Susan will be missed by; brother David Gilette; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Jane, several aunts and uncles, her brother, Terry Gillette, and her husband, Charles Stone Jr.
