Tamara Marie Moore's Obituary
Tamara “Tah” Moore, 65, of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, surrounded by family after a short illness. Tamara’s family and friends will gather from 10:00AM- 11:00AM on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (Formerly Arthur-Day Funeral Home). Her funeral service will follow at the same location. Her family requests casual dress for her services, wear your favorite team apparel. Private interment of ashes will be at St. Joseph Shrine at a later date.
Tamara was born to Patricia Brown (Sheaves) on March 5, 1958, in Jackson, Michigan. She graduated in 1976 from East Jackson High School. Tammie worked for Michigan Bell/ AT&T for more than 15 years and most recently was a 30-year employee of Safety Systems in Jackson. She was a lifelong Detroit Lions fan, enjoyed watching sports, and played softball, basketball, and powderpuff football. Tammie was devoted to her family and friends above everything else. She loved attending sporting and school events for all her family and friends, never missing one. Tammie faithfully took care of and put her family first. Loyal, hardworking, and giving are just a few of the words that would best describe her. There will always be a hole left that can never be filled.
Tammie will be missed by her sisters, Karson “Karrie” Wheaton, and Wendy Sheaves; stepdaughter, Danielle (Dave) Ransom; grandson, Landen Whitehead; nieces and nephews, Kristen Minix (Matt Uhl), David (Ashley) Wheaton, and Michael (Elizabeth) Wheaton; great nieces and nephews, Baylee and Maycee Lewis, Paityn and Waylon Wheaton, Carson Vogt, and Nash Uhl. She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Brown (Sheaves), sister, Melanie Sheaves, nephew, Korey Sheaves and her beloved grandparents.
