Theodore Paul Weiss' Obituary
WEISS, THEODORE PAUL Jr. ""TED"" Age 81, of Michigan Center, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Allegiance Health. Ted was born March 8, 1932 in Jackson, MI to Theodore Paul and Ethel Aline (Spencer) Weiss, Sr. He had been married to the former Margaret Virginia Swihart for 58 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son-in-law, Edward Marcoux and brother-in-law, Nelson Quackenbush. Ted is survived by his four children, Monica Weiss of Michigan Center, MI, Thomas (Adrianne) Weiss of Wichita, KS, Susan Marcoux of Marlton, NJ and Judith Weiss of Bentonville, AR; three grandchildren, Brandon (Erin) Weiss of Sacramento, CA, Amanda Weiss of Novi, MI and Jessica Marcoux of Marlton, NJ; two great-grandsons, Carson and Parker Weiss of Sacramento, CA; sister, Barbara Quackenbush of Costa Mesa, CA; many nieces and nephews. He was employed for over 40 years as an Industrial Engineer at Aeroquip in Jackson. Ted served for 8 years as a member of the Michigan Center School Board and had been president of the Michigan Center Little League. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Michigan Center for nearly 60 years. Ted enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family and was an avid sports spectator. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00 am with Father Tim MacDonald officiating. For those who wish, contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Fatima Building Fund.
