Thomas John Fehr's Obituary
Thomas John Fehr, 78, of Michigan Center passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 5, 2026 with his loving family by his side. Per Tom’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
He was born on September 22, 1947, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to Charles and Pearl (Meikle) Fehr. Tom married the love of his life, Keena Kramer, on July 7, 1979, in Jackson, Michigan. He will be remembered as the life of the party. Tom is a graduate of Parkside High School, class of 1966. He proudly served his country in the United State Navy. Tom was a supportive, loving husband, father and Pa. He loved to swim in his pool and spend time with his grandsons. Tom also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. His favorite time of year was the 4th of July. He loved watching the fireworks. The family took several memorable trips to Mackinac City where they rented a cabin . He and Keena also traveled with their special friends Waldo and Jan “Girlfriend” Wallace for over 40 years. Tom also kept in close contact with many of his classmates from Parkside High. He attended the JaxNaz church on occasion. Tom will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Keena; his daughter, Beth (Richard) Allbee; grandsons, Curtis and Dalton Allbee; his sister, Diane (Richard)Ewing; niece and nephew, Scott (Amanda) Fehr and Kendell (Patrick) Quade and special cousin, Marcia Fehr Zawada. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Pearl, a son, Bryan Fehr, ; a granddaughter, Anna Allbee; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Fehr; and nephew, Chuck Fehr; his father and mother-in-law, Bernard and Katherine “Betty” Kramer, brother-in-law, Kevin Kramer and sister-in-law, Karen Kramer and his beloved fur baby “Sunshine”.
