Thomas Jefferson Sigers, 76 of Jackson, Michigan, passed away September 23, 2025. Thomas’ family and friends will gather from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 29, 2025 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. His funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with, Thomas’ nephew, Pastor Harry Sewell Jr. presiding. Burial will take place directly after services at Leoni cemetery 184 Portage Rd, Jackson, Michigan 49201
Thomas was born on November 28, 1948, in Anniston, Missouri to William and Mary (Key) Sigers. Thomas married the love of his life, Diane, on May 26, 1987 in Jackson, Michigan. They enjoyed 20 plus years together until her passing in 2007. Thomas spent many years maintaining several properties, including care homes and apartments in the Jackson area. He loved to ride his motorcycle and as a member of the Bruders Motorcycle Association where he was known as “Tom Cat” he and Diane traveled everywhere together, including Mackinaw, Hocking Hills, the shores of Lake Michigan and many other destinations. They both also helped with and participated in a “once a month” dinners with the Bruders. Thomas enjoyed gardening, camping, and the mountains. He will be remembered as an avid sports fan, especially the Michigan teams, the Pistons, the Tigers and the NFL. He had special bond with his cat, lovingly named “little kitty”. But most of all, Thomas loved his family, his beloved wife, his children and his grandchildren.
Thomas will be deeply missed by his four children; his two sisters; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins, and his Bruders family. He is preceded in death by his wife Diane, his parents William and Mary, two children, Michael and Jeffrey and seven siblings.
