Trevor James Hilborn, 13, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025. Trevor’s family and friends will gather Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 4:00 pm -6:00 pm and Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. He was born on September 23, 2011, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Richard and Jeanna (Dodge) Hilborn. He will be remembered for his love of Jesus; and a huge servant’s heart. To his family and close friends, Trevor was known as “Bear”. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast, loving to fish (especially off the coast in Florida for sharks). Trevor also enjoyed sea turtles, and swimming with the manatees. He was a student at Columbia Central Middle School and played on the baseball and football teams. He truly loved the outdoors, riding ATV’s or dirt bikes. Trevor was a goofy kid with a kind spirit. He would not tolerate bullying and was always a defender. Trevor had a special talent for cooking. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing catch with his dad, riding bikes with his momma, picking on his beloved sissy and snuggling with his dog, Scoob. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Trevor is survived by his parents, Rik and Jeanna; a sister, Ireland Hilborn; grandparents, Jim and Lynne Dodge; a great grandmother, Phyllis Packer; aunts, Julie (Kevin) Stalnaker, Jennifer (Derek) Holda, Jodi (Paul) Staudenmeyer, Nancy (Dell) Smith, Robin (Jay) Stotler, and Julie Estanek, an uncle, Dan Hilborn; and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Dorothy Hilborn and uncle Jimmy Hilborn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to family for future designation. Please leave a message of comfort for Trevor’s family or sign his guestbook at www.EinederFuneralHomes.com.
