Vera R. Eddy (maiden-Vogan's Obituary
Age 85, of the Masonic Pathways Campus in Alma, Michigan, formerly of Grass Lake, passed away at the Gratiot Medical Center March 7, 2016. She is survived by five children, Lyle (Diane) Eddy, Karen Eddy, Sheree (Greg) Stebbins, Loretta (Robert) Chapman and Lisa Eddy, four grandchildren, Tyler and Cale Stoker, Melanie Eddy and Shane Chapman, great-grandson, Logan Eddy Goodman, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Lyle, grandson, Aaron Isenman, parents, Lester and Luella (maiden-Griggs) Vogan, five brothers and three sisters. Vera was a long time member of the Grass Lake Federated Church, Life Member of the Grass Lake Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and a Life member Fern Leaf Chapter #159 Order of the Eastern Star. Services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11 am with Rev. Chuck McNeil officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Grass Lake. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday evening from 5-8 pm with an Eastern Star Memorial Service at 7:30 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Federated Church Memorial Fund.
