Victoria Stachnik's Obituary
Age 101, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Jackson County Medical Care Facilty. She is survived by two children, Thomas (Jenny Wren) Stachnik and Christine (Myron) Campbell; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Hedwig Jasinowski; sister-in-law, Doris Bronsberg; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents, Alexander and Lucy (Matyskiel) Bronsberg and four siblings, Edmund and Frank Bronsberg, Rose Bretts and Elizabeth Lucasik. Victoria retired from Camp International, was active at and served as President of the St. Stanislaus Rosary Society, was a long time member of St. Stanislaus Kostka and in retirement worked at Andy's Pizza in Michigan Center. Her Rite of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church Friday, December 15, 2017 at 2 pm with Father Peter Lawrence officiating. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 pm until service time. Contributions in her memory are directed to Fatima Parish (913 Napoleon Rd., Michigan Center, 49254, St. Stanislaus Mission (608 S. Elm St., Jackson, 49201) or Great Lakes Caring Hospice for the Music Therapy Program (900 Cooper St., Jackson, 49202).
