Violet Marguerite Race's Obituary
Race, Violet M., age 88, of Leoni Township, passed away at her home December 12, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Bradley and Pam Ross, six grandchildren and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Race. Violet had retired after 25 years service with Vandercook Lake Public Schools, working as a bus driver, in the lunchroom and as a playground attendant. It was her wishes to be cremated and not to hold memorial services.
