Virginia Helen Link's Obituary
Age 76, of Blackman Township, passed away at her home Wednesday February 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. Virginia was born in Jackson, Michigan on Sunday, July 8, 1945 to the late John F. and Constance S. (maiden-Rulewicz) Andruszewski. She is survived by three children; Damian (Jayne) Vicary, Daniella (John) Whitten and Darcy (James) Welsh, grandchildren; Tash Bonilla, Sarah Vicary and Patrick Vicary, sister; Cynthia Mandreger, nieces; Gina O'Connell and Diana Sweatt. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: John P. Link in 2005. She was a dedicated and caring Licensed Practical Nurse who spent a career at Foote (Allegiance) and then retiring from Heartland Health Care (now Allegra). In retirement she moved to Maple Ridge West where she became the resident nurse caregiver, assisting the other tenants with their many and varied health care needs. With a love of gardening and her gift of a green thumb she and some of her friends at Maple Ridge took great pride in maintaining the beautiful flower beds. Virginia had a giving nature and was a dedicated wife and mother. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Memorial Contributions are directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
