Vivian Mae Craft's Obituary
Age 82, of Leoni Township, went to be with her Lord May 26, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Heartland Hospice. She is survived by her husband of 54 years; Asberrie 'Abe' Craft, four children; David (Becky) Craft, Barbara Marsh-Bertz, Carol Boadway and Ronald E. Craft, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two sisters; Shirley (Rick) Mellinger and Georgie Bridge, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two siblings; Richard Bower and Clarice Rowe and her parents; Edgar W. and Wilma M. (maiden-Quick) Bower. Vivian worked as a secretary for 18 years at GW Quick Metal Fabricators. She was a gifted musician, playing the organ, piano and accordion and loved to sing. She was devoted to her Savior Jesus Christ. Cremation has taken place. She was a long-time pianist/organist at the Loomis Park Baptist Church (2301 North Elm Ave, Jackson, MI 49201) where a Memorial Service to honor her life will be held Monday, June 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm with the family receiving friends from noon until service time. Pastor Rich Zawadzki will officiate. Guests are advised to observe the current COVID restrictions. Private interment of her cremains will be at Leoni Cemetery. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Loomis Park Baptist Church.
