Walter LeRoy Budd Sr's Obituary
Walter LeRoy Budd, Jr., age 91, of Michigan Center, passed away January 3, 2014 at the Allegiance Hospice Home. He is survived by five children, Jerry (Susan) Budd, Jeanette (David) Brown, Thomas Budd, Terry (Lori) Budd, Donald (Evelyn) Budd, stepdaughter Barbara (Steven) Lipko, fourteen grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchildren, He was preceded in death by two wives, Dorothy and Clarice, his parents, six sisters and two brothers. Walter was a retired Tool and Die Maker, served as vice-president at Production Products, enjoyed following his grandchildren's activities and the MSU Spartans. He served the nation in the US Coast Guard in World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post #324. Mr. Budd has been cremated. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 11 am with Rev. Richard Brooks, Allegiance Hospice Chaplain officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service time. Veterans honors by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. The family wishes to thank the Allegiance Hospice home for their wonderful care and direct any Memorial Contributions to them.
