Wanda Jean Marianski's Obituary
Wanda Jean Marianski, 98, passed away peacefully at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson, Michigan February 22, 2025.
Wanda was born on April 27, 1926 in Jackson, Michigan to Thomas and Eleanor (Marzec) Grzesikowski. She graduated from Jackson High School with the class of 1944. Wanda married her first husband, Miesyslaw (Maddy) Wpych, on June 25, 1949 and he preceded her in death. She then married Julian Marianski on April 6, 1978 and he, also, preceded her in death.
Wanda will be remembered for entertaining her family and friends playing the accordion, taking pictures and joining her numerous lady friends in many activities. She was an active member for many years of the Rosary Society of St. Stanislaus Kostka and Polish Legion of American Veterans (PLAV).
Wanda is survived by her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, her parents and 11 siblings preceded her in death.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on March 13, 2025 at St. Stanislaus Kostka, with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. Interment at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Jackson, Michigan. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Altar Guild.
