William DeLoyd Bailey's Obituary
Age 86, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. Bill was born in Iron City, Tennessee on Saturday, August 17, 1935 to the late Joe Nathan and Ollie (Robinson) Bailey. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years; Eva Jane (Schelski) Bailey, three children; Richard (Meri-Beth) Bailey of Vandercook Lake, Jerry Lee Bailey of Jackson and Lisa Marie (Jamie) Marks of Jackson, eight grandchildren; Andrew (Courtney), Aaron, Randy (Kami), William, Nicole, Ashley, Paige and Cierra, 9 great-grandchildren; Jordon, Brianna, Levi, Wyatt, Dallas, Hunter JaiLyn, Patience and Adrianna, brother; Billy Joe (Shirley) Bailey and sister; Judy Coffman, many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his great-grandson: Logan Bailey, brothers; Emerald and Roy and sister; Ruth Dixon. Mr. Bailey was a retired truck driver with Worthington Steel and an avid fisherman and hunter. Funeral services will be held Arthur-Day Funeral Home Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2 pm with Pastor Vince Bridge officiating. Interment Maxon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening 6-8 pm and on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Contributions in his memory are directed to the American Cancer Society.
