William Russell Chambers' Obituary
William Russell Chambers Born: October 7. 1939; in Fayetteville WV, to George and Alta (Haney) Chambers, Preceded in death by his loving wife Ruth K. Chambers, his parents, George and Alta, his brothers George and Robert Chambers, and his sister Linda Briggs.
He is survived by his daughters Amy Hines, (Danny Burdick) and Anna (Chris) Smith, and son Kenneth (Debbie) Kulikowski; grandchildren, Kenneth Kuilikowski, Natasha (Jeremy) Jaycox, Christopher (Barbara) Kuilikowski, Chelsea Busdecker (Justin Schroll), Tyler (Melanie) Smith, and Hannah Kuilikowski. 17 Great Grandchildren; his sister-in-law Patricia Chambers.
William attended Jackson High, entering the navy after school- he loved the navy- some of his fondest memories. He was an avid sportsman, he loved hunting and fishing; he loved the water, great cook and seamstress. He was a woodworking cabinetmaker, he along with his wife attended craft shows selling their woodworking accessories for the home. After retiring from Hays Albion (Harvard Industries), he fulfilled his dream of building a home in Newago, the northern woods surrounded by pines, completed with a woodworking shop. He loved his children and grandchildren; they were his pride and joy! He traveled all throughout the United States, his last adventure was October 2024, he flew with family and friends to visit his son Kenny and the grandchildren, traveling to the Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, and NFL game! He loved life.
Bill’s family and friends will gather from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday October 1, 2025. at Eineder Funeral Home, 820 5th St. Michigan Center, Michigan and his funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplin Kyle Herrick presiding.
