William H. Dennis' Obituary
Dennis, William H. Age 79, of Michigan Center, passed away at his home December 7, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gladys E., eight children, Rex, Ricky and Rocky (Patty) Jones, Renda (Dale) Boomer, Rhonda (Dennis) Matthews, John, Pam and Jackie Dennis, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three sisters, Joyce (Rich) Carlisle, Phyllis Bostwick and Barb Yarlbough and brother Thomas Masters. He was preceded in death by father, Benjamin F. Dennis Sr., mother and step-father, Irene and Ed Masters, sister, Betty and two brothers, Mike and Sonny Dennis. William was a retiree of Conrail, a veteran of the US Navy, serving aboard the Carrier Forrestal, member of the American Legion Rose City Post and an avid boater, fisherman and loved his dogs. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 2 to 7 pm. He will be interred with full military honors at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Michigan Center Cardinal Club.
