William Patrick “Pat” Nemacheck
Pat Nemacheck of Manchester, Michigan, aged 83, passed away on December 21st, 2024. Pat was a loving husband to his wife, Jean (Madden), who he was married to for 61 years. He was a dedicated, supportive father to Jim (Melanie), Nancy Cocco (Peter), and Jill (Michael Kaufman). He was a caring, hands-on grandfather to Victor, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Molly, Max, Anna, Peter, and Suzy, as well as to his great-grandchildren Ronan, Adler, Remi, Copeland, and Carter. He leaves behind his brother Tom, sister Judy Haeger, and was preceded in death by his sister Susie Hamlin.
Pat grew up in Detroit, Michigan and has known Jean since childhood. He attended St. Francis de Sales where he played football and later coached. He went on to further his education at University of Detroit where he majored in finance.
Pat’s career in manufacturing took him from Michigan to Canton, Ohio to Lafayette, Indiana and back to Michigan. In retirement, he worked at Chelsea Lumber and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity.
Pat loved golf, books, and anything University of Michigan.
He will be remembered for his quick wit, eternal optimism, constant support of all his children’s endeavors, and his ping pong skills.
Please join us to celebrate his life on January 4th from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Eineder Funeral Homes in Manchester, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Gilbert Residence, Ypsilanti, Michigan.
