William Franklin Poole's Obituary
Age 60, of Concord, passed away Monday May 9. 2022 at the Henry Ford Hospice Home. He is survived by his wife; Nicole Poole, children; Brandon Parker, Yescenia and Armani, step-children; Devin Soto-Robinson and Tra' Vaughn Soto, many grandchildren, siblings; Cynthia Poole, William F. Walker Jr. and Raymond Poole, special mother-in-law, Audrey Halliwell; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; William Franklin Walker and Mary Alice Glaspie, siblings; Shirley Brown, Janet Williams, Elizabeth Hicks, Joan Marie Green, James Franklin Poole and Clyde Poole. William was a talented drummer and lead singer who had toured Europe with USO bands entertaining the troops. Over the years he led many bands in various Michigan venues. He was a long time Maintenance Man with Edward Rose and Sons. William (AKA-Boop) as he was known to many, was a very special man with an infectious smile and a heart of gold who was loved and will be missed by all. A time of sharing memories and stories will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home Saturday, May14, 2022 at 11 am. Cremation to follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening, 6-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to his family to help defray his final expenses.
