Wilma L. Rusiecki's Obituary
Age 82, of Jackson, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 while under the wonderful care of the staff at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility. Wilma was born in 1939 at Mt. Pleasant, MI, the daughter of Fred and Velma (Baker) Gothan.
Wilma is survived by three children, Dan (Connie) Rusiecki, Doug (Trish) Rusiecki and Susie (Dan) Edwards; son-in-law, Carl Webster; four grandchildren, Alex (Jenna) Webster, Nick (Linzi) Webster, Joseph Edwards and Michael Edwards; two great-grandchildren, Piper and Calvin Webster; two sisters, Shirley Barrett and Carol Oberlin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Rusiecki in 2013 and daughter, Sandi Webster in 2014.
Wilma was a graduate of East Jackson High School. She was a dedicated wife, mom and homemaker for her family, a job she truly enjoyed. When the kids were older, she became a part-time Teacher's Assistant with the Michigan Center Schools. Aside from her family, some of the great times in her life were frequent trips to Florida to visit her sisters and stops at the casinos.
A casual luncheon celebration to honor Wilma's life and share stories will be held at the Michigan Center Lions Club (600 Fifth Street, Michigan Center) on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
